Our private addressbook service creates a database called names.nsf in your personal server directory. You have complete manager access over this database and can create multiple web user login names with HTTP passwords to allow secure access to your site.
Remember when configuring your addressbook, you need to add each user to the ACL of your database, and if you leave the Default and/or Anonymous ACL entries set to anything higher than ‘No Access,’ your users will not be forced to authenticate immediately when they hit your website. They are only forced to authenticate when attempting to access a secured element of your site. If you want to force authentication before your users hit your site, you must set the Default and Anonymous ACL entries to No Access.
For in depth information about how authentication works in the DDN environment, please see http://dominodeveloper.net/documentation for a technical guide.
